Day 1
Pick-up: Early morning pick-up from your hotel for a drive via Safaga on the desert road (approx. 225 km) to Qena. Rest Break: Short stop at a rest area for refreshments and a toilet break. Local Scenery: Continue the drive to Luxor (approx. 60 km), observing authentic Egyptian villages along the way. Karnak Temple: Visit the largest temple complex in the world, featuring the enormous hypostyle hall. Valley of the Kings: Cross to Thebes West for lunch and an interior tour of the royal tombs (mobile phone photos without flash allowed). Hatshepsut & Memnon: Visit the stunning Terrace Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the giant Colossi of Memnon. Return: Comfortable transfer back to your hotel, arriving around 8:00 PM.
