Day 1
Day 1: Aswan’s Ancient & Modern Wonders Departure: Early morning pick-up (around 5:30 AM) for a scenic drive to Aswan (approx. 450 km). Philae Temple: Arrival in Aswan around noon. Take a motorboat to the Island of Agilika to visit the stunning Temple of Isis. The High Dam & Obelisk: Visit the Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering giant, and the Unfinished Obelisk, providing a glimpse into ancient stone-carving secrets. Kalabsha Temple: Discover the Temple of Kalabsha, the largest free-standing temple in Lower Nubia, dedicated to the sun god Mandulis. Evening: Late lunch followed by hotel check-in and a relaxing overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 2
Day 2: The Majesty of Abu Simbel Early Start: Departure around 3:00 AM for the drive across the Nubian Desert to Abu Simbel (approx. 3 hours). Abu Simbel Temples: Stand in awe before the Great Temple of Ramses II and the delicate Temple of Nefertari, both rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. Return to Aswan: Return journey to Aswan for lunch and a short break. Final Transfer: Comfortable drive back to your hotel in the Red Sea area, arriving in the late evening.
